Homemade Salad Dressing: Lemon vinaigrette and Red Wine Vinaigrette dressing

Homemade Salad Dressing:

 

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oi

1/4 cup of red wine vinegar

1 tablespoon of dijon mustard

salt & pepper to taste

The two salad dressings are easy to prepare and a healthier option to commercial salad dressings.

For the vinaigrette: You’ll need extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt & pepper.

In a small bowl, add the olive oil, red wine vinegar & dijon mustard. Using a fork, whisk for a minute or two until the mixture is emulsified and has a nice, smooth consistency.

Once your ingredients are well combined, add salt and pepper to taste and continue to whisk.

For the Olive oil and lemon dressing:

Ingredient:

1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil

1/2 lemon

salt & pepper

Pour the extra virgin olive oil into a small bowl. Squeeze half a lemon and use a spoon to remove the remainder of the juice and pulp. Add salt and pepper to taste and begin whisking until you get a smooth consistency.

The red wine vinaigrette recipe and lemon vinaigrette are both low calorie dressings and can be used to dress salad, chicken & fish.
