    Ingredients
    • 16ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolatechopped into small pieces
    • 10ounces unsalted butterroom temperature
    • 2tablespoons light corn syrup

    Follow the double-boiler method in this video until chocolate has melted.

    Combine butter and corn syrup with a wooden spoon.  Continue to stir until the glaze is perfectly blended with no trace of lumps or separation.

    Allow to cool to room temperature. This is a very important step because if the glaze is too hot, it will not only be too thin to use, but it can melt the cake.
